WARRIOR MEN’S SOCCER SHUTS OUT HOOD

FREDERICK, Md. – The Lycoming College men’s soccer team traveled to Hood College, Saturday afternoon, for a non-conference match. The Warriors scored four second-half goals en route to a 5-0 shutout of the Blazers. Lycoming improves to 11-4-1 overall, while Hood falls to 1-11.

Zach Tanner (Fr./Waynesboro, Pa.; Waynesboro) led the Warriors with two goals in the contest. Tony Komons (Fr./Frederick, Md.; Frederick) added two assists, playing in his hometown. Lycoming also received goals from Andrew Rampulla (Jr./Mechanicsburg, Pa.; Cumberland Valley), Phil Kratochvil (Jr./Bel Air, Md.; C. Milton Wright), and Ryan Burgett (Jr./Carlisle, Pa.; Carlisle). Jeff Kocher (Jr./Churchville, Md.; C. Milton Wright) recorded an assist.

Jason Fesler (Sr./Carlisle, Pa.; Cumberland Valley) went the distance in goal for the Warriors, making two saves. The shutout was his seventh of the season.

Lycoming returns to Freedom Conference competition on Wednesday, when they travel to the University of Scranton.
