WARRIOR MEN’S SOCCER FALLS AT KING’S

WILKES-BARRE, Pa. – The Lycoming College men’s soccer team traveled to King’s College, Tuesday afternoon, for an important Freedom Conference match. The Warriors gave up a goal in the 17^th minute and were unable to score one of their own, falling to the Monarchs 1-0. Lycoming drops to 11-3 overall and 2-2 within the conference. King’s improves to 7-7 and 1-3.

Jordan Miller scored the only goal of the game off an assist from Brandon Heller midway through the opening period. The rest of the contest was a defensive struggle as the Warriors managed just eight shots.

Jason Fesler (Jr./Carlisle, Pa.; Cumberland Valley) made two saves in goal for Lycoming.

The Warriors return home for their next match, hosting defending conference champion Drew University, Sunday afternoon, at 2 p.m.
