LYCOMING MEN’S SOCCER SUFFERS HEARTBREAKER AT JUNIATA

HUNTINGDON, PA – The Lycoming College men’s soccer team traveled to Juniata College, Wednesday afternoon, for a non-conference match. The two teams played even through 90 minutes, before the Eagles scored on a loose ball in the box to steal to 1-0 overtime victory. The Warriors fall to 3-2-2 with the loss. Juniata improves to 2-3-1.

Nick Wolfe scored the game-winning goal for the Eagles seven minutes into the extra period.

Jason Fesler (So./Carlisle, PA; Cumberland Valley) made nine saves in goal for Lycoming.

The Warriors will open up conference play on Sunday, September 22, when they host King’s College. The match is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m.
