LYCOMING MEN’S LACROSSE CRACKS NATIONAL RANKING

WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – The Lycoming College men’s lacrosse team is gaining national attention early in the 2001 season. In the latest STX/USILA Division III rankings released on March 5^th, the Warriors are ranked 22^nd in the nation.

Lycoming opened their season last Saturday with a 15-5 victory over Randolph-Macon College. The Warriors are coming off back-to-back winning seasons of 10-4 in 1999 and 10-5 in 2000.

On Sunday, Lycoming will travel to the University of Scranton where they will take on SUNY-Oneonta, the 20^th ranked team in the nation. Game time is 1 p.m.

Other Middle Atlantic Conference teams included in the rankings are Messiah College, 21^st, and Widener University, 26^th.
