The Royals were led by sophomore midfielder Dan Stallone (S. Plainfield, N.J./St. Joseph Metuchen) with three goals and an assist and freshman midfielder Matthew Huber (Chester, N.J./West Morris Mendham) had two goals.

After Cusick and Nairn combined for six goals to spark the Warriors to a 7-1 lead early in the second period, the Royals, behind goals by Huber, Stallone and sophomore attacker Sean O'Connor (Media, Pa./Penncrest), cut the lead to 7-4 by intermission.

The Warriors extended their lead to 10-4 by the end of the third period on goals by Nairn, Dixon and Cusick before Scranton cut the margin to 11-8 on two goals by Stallone and another by senior midfielder Jonathan Sutter (Media, Pa./Penncrest) with 3:24 left.  Dixon and Dan Conkwright (Fr./Spring City, Pa.; Owen J.
