Men's Lacrosse

LYCOMING MEN’S LACROSSE SUFFERS LOSS AT MESSIAH

GRANTHAM, Pa. – The Lycoming College men’s lacrosse team traveled to Messiah College, Wednesday afternoon, for a Middle Atlantic Conference showdown. The Warriors struggled to find their attack against the Falcons, falling by a score of 3-13. Lycoming is now 7-4 overall and 6-2 within the conference. Messiah improves to 9-2 and 6-1.

James Cusick (Fr./Aston, Pa.; Sun Valley), Chris McQuade (Sr./Lower Gwynedd, Pa.; Wissahickon), and Tyler Fitzgibbons (Sr./Doylestown, Pa.; Archbishop Wood) accounted for the Warriors goals. Thomas Nairn (So./Fairport, N.Y.; Fairport) recorded an assist.

Matt Lyons (So./Radnor, Pa.; Conestoga) started in goal for Lycoming and made 22 saves in 48 minutes. Erik Shepski (Sr./West Chester, Pa.; Unionville) made three saves in the final 12 minutes.

The Warriors will look to rebound on Saturday when they host Dickinson College at 4 p.m. for a non-conference tilt.
