LACROSSE COMES BACK TO TOP DESALES
CENTER
VALLEY, Pa. The Lycoming College mens lacrosse team traveled
to DeSales University, Saturday afternoon, for a Middle Atlantic
Conference match-up. The Warriors fell behind 4-0 in the opening
quarter before rallying for a 12-9 victory. Lycoming improves to
4-2 overall and 3-0 in the conference with their fourth straight
victory. The Bulldogs fall to 1-7 and 1-3.
Dan Wilcox
(Sr./Corning, N.Y.; Corning East)
led the Warriors with five goals and an assist. Sang Duong
(Jr./Havertown, Pa.; Haverford) added four goals and three
assists. Dave Kirschner (Jr./Newtown Square, Pa.; Marple
Newtown) chipped in two goals and Chris McQuade
(Jr./Lower Gwynedd, Pa.; Wissahickon) tallied another to
round out the scoring for Lycoming.
Sean Powers
(Sr./Drexel Hill, Pa.; Monsignor Bonner)
went the distance in goal for the Warriors, making 12 saves and
allowing nine goals.
Lycoming
returns home for their next game on Wednesday, April 7, to host
the University of Scranton. Face-off is at 4 p.m.
