Men's Lacrosse

WARRIOR MEN’S LACROSSE DEFEATS NEUMANN

ASTON, Pa. – The Lycoming College men’s lacrosse team traveled to Neumann College, Monday afternoon, for a non-conference contest. The Warriors exploded out of the gate scoring nine goals in the first quarter en route to a 20-5 victory. Lycoming improves to 2-2 with the win. The Knights fall to 1-6.

Chris McQuade (Jr./Lower Gwynedd, Pa.; Wissahickon) led the Warriors with four goals and four assists in the game. Sang Duong (Jr./Havertown, Pa.; Haverford) added three goals and four assists, while Dan Wilcox (Sr./Corning, N.Y.; Corning East) chipped in four goals and one assist. Dave Kirschner (Jr./Newtown Square, Pa.; Marple Newtown) and Andrew Reckley (Fr./Aston, Pa.; Sun Valley) each contributed two goals. Seven other players recorded at least one goal or one assist for Lycoming.

Christian Willaum (Sr./New Milford, Conn.; New Milford) played the first half in goal for the Warriors, making five saves and giving up two goals. Matthew Lyons (Fr./Wayne, Pa.; Conestoga) made four saves in net during the third quarter while giving up one goal. Alex Tankleoff (Fr./Malvern, Pa.; Great Valley) finished the game in goal recording two saves and allowing two goals.

Lycoming will travel to King’s College on Wednesday, March 31, for their next game.
