LYCOMING’S WILCOX NAMED PLAYER OF THE WEEK FOR MEN’S LACROSSE

WILLIAMSPORT, PA – Lycoming College junior Dan Wilcox (Corning, NY; Corning East) has been named the Middle Atlantic Conference Player of the Week for men’s lacrosse.

Last week, Wilcox led the Warriors to a pair of conference victories over King’s College and DeSales University. Wilcox sparked a 22-6 win over the Monarchs by scoring seven goals and assisting on three other scores. Just three days later, he was Lycoming’s leading scorer in a 16-6 triumph over the Bulldogs, posting eight goals and two assists in the contest.

For the season, Wilcox has a total of 40 goals and nine assists. He currently leads the nation in goals scored and is sixth in points with 49.

As a team the Warriors are 5-3 overall and 4-1 within the conference this season. Their next game is on Wednesday, April 9, at the University of Scranton. Face-off is set for 4 p.m.
