MEN’S LACROSSE FALLS AT MESSIAH
WILLIAMSPORT,
PA – The Lycoming
College men’s lacrosse team traveled to Messiah College,
Wednesday afternoon, for their final conference game of the
season. The Warriors were held to just three goals in an eventual
13-3 loss. Lycoming falls to 5-8 overall and 4-5 in the
conference. The Falcons improve to 9-3 and 7-1.
Ryan
Bergstrom (Sr./Hagerstown, MD; Smithsburg),
Dan Wilcox (Jr./Corning, NY; Corning East), and Dave
Dormond (Jr./Bryn Mawr, PA; Haverford) each scored once for
the Warriors. Chris McQuade (So./Lower Gwynedd, PA; Wissahickon)
recorded one assist.
Christian
Willaum (Jr./New Milford, CT; New Milford)
played the entire game in goal for Lycoming making 23 saves.
The
Warriors will complete the 2003 campaign on Saturday, April 26,
when they travel to Keuka College.
