LACROSSE DEFEATS DESALES

VALLEY, PA – The Lycoming College men’s lacrosse team picked
up a conference victory at DeSales University, Wednesday
afternoon. The Warriors jumped out to a 6-4 halftime lead and went
on to win 11-7. Lycoming improves to 5-3 overall and 3-0 within
the Middle Atlantic Conference. The Bulldogs fall to 3-6 and 1-3.
Dan Wilcox
(So./Corning, NY; Corning-Painted Post East)
led the Warriors with four goals in the game. Sang Duong
(So./Havertown, PA; Haverford) also tallied four points on
three goals and an assist. Eric Holzhauer (Sr./Willow Grove,
PA; Abington), Ryan Bergstrom (Jr./Hagerstown, MD;
Smithsburg), and Buddy Temple (Sr./Webster, NY; Webster)
each added one goal and one assist.
Sean Powers
(So./Drexel Hill, PA; Monsignor)
made 13 saves in goal for Lycoming.
The Warriors
are at home for their next game on Saturday, April 6, when they
host Widener University. Game time is at 2 p.m. at David Person
Field.
