MEN’S LACROSSE FALLS TO ELMIRA
WILLIAMSPORT,
PA – The Lycoming College men’s lacrosse team hosted Elmira
College for a non-conference contest, Saturday afternoon. The
Warriors fell behind early and despite numerous comeback attempts,
never fully recovered falling 16-9 to the Soaring Eagles. Lycoming
is now 4-3 overall. Elmira improves to 1-4.
The Soaring
Eagles opened the game with four unanswered goals to set the tone
for the day early. The Warriors responded with three goals of
their own to move within one. But after both teams traded goals,
Elmira added seven consecutive tallies in the second and third
quarters to pull away from Lycoming. The Warriors recorded the
last three goals of the game but it was far too little.

goal and one assist.
Sean Powers
(So./Drexel Hill, PA; Monsignor)
and Christian Willaum (So./New Milford, CT; New Milford)
