WARRIORS’ LINDSAY REACHES MILESTONE

WILLIAMSPORT, PA – Three-year starter and senior Brian Lindsay (Gettysburg; Gettysburg) surpassed the 1,000^th point mark for his collegiate career on Wednesday, when he led the Warriors in scoring with 23 points in Lycoming’s win over Drew University. Lindsay now has 1,010 points for his career – 839 scored while at Lycoming and 171 points scored while at Division II Indiana University of Pennsylvania.

Through 14 games in the 2000-2001 campaign, Lindsay ranks fourth on the team in scoring, averaging 9.1 points per game. He is second on the team with 25 three-pointers in 70 attempts. The Warriors are 6-8 overall and 2-4 in the MAC Freedom Conference.

Lindsay began his collegiate career at IUP in 1996, playing in 27 games for the Indians. He started eight of those games and averaged 6.3 points per game. He then transferred to Lycoming where he posted back-to-back seasons of 300-plus points, leading the team in triples both years. Lindsay was named to the All-MAC Freedom Conference second team following the 1999-2000 season.
