Lycoming
Dominates Delaware Valley
Morris Drops Seven

WILLIAMSPORT,
Pa.—Kevin Morris (Camp Hill, PA) is on fire this week!
The junior, who recorded four three-pointers and 21 points
against King’s on Wednesday, hit seven threes, a deuce
and two fouls shots on Saturday versus Delaware Valley. Morris’
25 points led the Warriors past the Aggies 72-56.
Lycoming
(9-8) is now 2-4 in the Freedom Conference, while Del Val (3-14)
falls to 1-5.
The Warriors
led 36-21 at halftime and cruised from there. Junior captain
David Wilson (Pottsville, PA) scored 11 points, while
sophomore Greg Sye (Chantilly, VA) had a quiet 14 with
four rebounds. Co-captain Matt McGair (Mt. Laurel, NJ)
pulled down a team-high seven boards, while Morris
grabbed four rebounds.
Morris’
48 points this week (two against Carnegie Mellon on Monday)
earned him Lycoming Warrior of the Week recognition and a
nomination for conference player of the week.
Delaware
Valley was led by guard Eric Lawton, who scored 15
points, and Bill Gelsomini with 14. Josh Taylor
secured seven rebounds on the night.
The Warriors
travel to DeSales on Wednesday night for another Freedom
Conference match-up, then return to Lamade Gymnasium on
Saturday, January 27 to face conference foe FDU-Florham. With
Morris, Wilson and Sye clicking on all
cylinders, Lycoming could make a strong run in remaining
conference play.
