Lycoming Men’s Basketball Holds Golf Outing
Many Former Warriors Return

WILLIAMSPORT, Pa.—Lycoming College basketball held its annual golf outing fundraiser on May 11 at White Deer Golf Course, located just outside of Williamsport. Over 50 golfers consisting of former players and friends of Lycoming Basketball made the trip.

Among those in attendance was Villanova head women’s basketball coach and Lycoming alumnus Harry Perretta '78. Perretta has been the Lady Wildcats’ head coach for 28 years. In 2004-05 he became only the 26th Division I women's basketball head coach to win 500 games.

The program also welcomed back Lycoming Basketball Hall-of-Fame members Mike Brown ’79 and John DiMarco ’76, as well as Warrior mainstays Seth Burch '89, Jim DiMarco '78, Larry Stauffer '92, Joe Klebon '76, Lenny Weisbrod '99 and Kevin Rutherford.

A post round picnic allowed friends and former players to renew friendships. We thank these former players for making the trip and supporting the program, and we look forward to continuing this annual tradition.
