WARRIORS’ PRIBBLE REPEATS AS PLAYER OF THE WEEK

WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – Lycoming College junior Jonathan Pribble (Woolrich, Pa.; Central Mountain) has been named the Freedom Conference Men’s Basketball Player of the Week for the second consecutive week.

Pribble continued his impressive start to the 2004-2005 season, leading the Warriors to a 92-89 overtime victory versus Elizabethtown College, Tuesday evening. The junior forward totaled 37 points and 10 rebounds in the game, including seven points in the decisive extra period. Pribble was 9-for-20 from the field, including three three-pointers, and went 16-of-19 from the free-throw line. He also became the 24^th member of Lycoming College’s 1,000-point club, achieving the milestone in just the third game of his junior season.

Through three games this season, Pribble is averaging 29 points, eight rebounds, and three assists per outing. As a team, the Warriors are 3-0 and will open up play within the Freedom Conference on Wednesday, December 1, when they host the University of Scranton. Tip-off is scheduled for 8 p.m. following the women’s game at 6 p.m.
