WARRIOR MEN’S BASKETBALL WINS FOURTH STRAIGHT

MADISON, N.J. – The Lycoming College men’s basketball team traveled to FDU-Florham, Saturday afternoon, for a Freedom Conference match-up. Despite their top-two leading scorers missing the game due to injuries, the Warriors were able to pick up an important conference road victory, defeating the Devils 67-64. Lycoming improves to 12-4 overall and 4-1 within the Freedom. FDU falls to 6-9 and 1-4.

L.J. Huggler (Sr./St. Marys, Pa.; St. Marys) led the Warriors with 28 points in the game. Shaun Morris (Jr./Camp Hill, Pa.; Trinity) added 11 points and a game-high five assists. Jeremiah Edison (Jr./Mifflinburg, Pa.; Mifflinburg) chipped in 10 markers and a team-high eight rebounds. Brad Musser (So./Mifflinburg, Pa.; Mifflinburg) contributed eight points, and Curtis Mays (So./Philadelphia, Pa.; University City) came off the bench to add seven points.

Lycoming was without leading scorers Matt Stackhouse and Jonathan Pribble due to separate injuries. Stackhouse is expected to miss another week and Pribble is day-to-day.

The Warriors will return home on Wednesday, January 28, to host Freedom Conference rival DeSales University. Tip-off is scheduled for 8 p.m. following the women’s contest.
