LYCOMING’S JONATHAN PRIBBLE NAMED PLAYER OF THE WEEK

WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – Lycoming College sophomore Jonathan Pribble (Woolrich, Pa.; Central Mountain) has been named the Freedom Conference Player of the Week for men’s basketball. he has also been named to the D3Hoops.com Team of the Week.

Pribble led the Warriors through a 2-1 week by accounting for nearly 37% of the team’s offensive production. In a 91-84 victory over Shenandoah on Tuesday, he scored a then career-high 35 points, including seven three-pointers. He also pulled down seven rebounds. Two nights later at Marymount, Pribble set a new career-high with 41 points in an 81-79 victory, including the game-winning three-pointer at the buzzer. He ended the week with a 13-point, 11-rebound performance in a loss to Susquehanna. For the week, Pribble averaged 29.7 points and 7.7 rebounds per game while adding seven assists, three steals, and two blocked shots.

For the season, Pribble is the leading scorer in the Freedom Conference averaging 21.5 points per contest. As a team, Lycoming is 8-3 overall and 1-0 versus league opponents. The Warriors are in action again this Wednesday as they travel to King’s College for a conference contest.
