Men's Basketball

WARRIOR MEN’S BASKETBALL FALLS AT KING’S

WILKES-BARRE, Pa. – The Lycoming College men’s basketball team traveled to King’s College, Wednesday evening, for an important Freedom Conference contest. The Warriors struggled offensively, shooting just 25% in the second half, and fell to the Monarchs, 46-69. Lycoming drops to 15-7 overall and 6-5 within the conference with the loss. King’s improves to 18-4 and 9-2.

Jonathan Pribble (Jr./Woolrich, Pa.; Central Mountain) led the Warriors with 20 points and nine rebounds. Shaun Morris (Sr./Camp Hill, Pa.; Trinity) added nine points, six rebounds, and four assists. Kevin Morris (Fr./Camp Hill, Pa.; Trinity) chipped in seven points and eight boards.

The Monarchs were led by Marty O’Hora and John Soboleski who each scored 14 points. Landon Gabriel added 13 markers and Thomas Moore posted 10 points. O’Hora also led the squad in rebounding with eight rebounds.

Lycoming will compete again on Saturday, February 12, when they travel to FDU-Florham for another conference game. Tip-off is set for 3 p.m.
