WARRIOR JUNIOR JONATHAN PRIBBLE
NAMED TO ALL-REGION TEAM
WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – Lycoming
College junior Jonathan Pribble (Woolrich, Pa.; Central
Mountain) has been named to the National Association of
Basketball Coaches (NABC) All-Middle Atlantic Region
second-team.
Pribble, a two-time All-Freedom
Conference first-team selection and the 2003 Rookie of the Year,
was the Warriors leading scorer for the 2004-2005 season
averaging 21.2 points per game. He also grabbed 5.4 rebounds and
handed out 1.7 assists per game, while shooting 46.5% from the
field and 37.9% from three-point range. Pribble was twice named
the Freedom Conference Player of the Week and was second in the
league in scoring.
Pribble served as a co-captain,
this season, leading the team to an overall record of 17-8. Just
three games into the 2004-05 campaign, he became the 24th
member of the Warriors’ 1,000-point club and ended his junior
year with 1,449 career points.
