LYCOMING’S PRIBBLE NAMED ALL-CONFERENCE FOR MEN’S BASKETBALL

WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – Lycoming College junior Jonathan Pribble (Woolrich, Pa.; Central Mountain) has been named to the All-Freedom Conference first team, released by the conference office Monday afternoon.

Pribble was the Warriors leading scorer for the second consecutive season, averaging 21.1 points per game, while pulling down 5.4 rebounds per outing. He also handed out 42 assists, recorded 30 steals, and blocked 14 shots during the 2004-2005 season. Pribble was the second-leading scorer in the conference and ranked among the top-10 in six other statistical categories. He was twice named player of the week. Pribble served as a co-captain for Lycoming and led the team to an overall record of 17-8. He also became the 24th member of the Warriors’ 1,000-point club, surpassing the milestone in just the third game of his junior season.

“I’m very excited and happy that Jonathan has been recognized by the conference,” said Lycoming head coach Don Friday. “He is special player who had a terrific season. He is definitely deserving of this honor.”
