LYCOMING MEN’S BASKETBALL TOPS AGGIES

DOYLESTOWN, Pa. – The Lycoming College men’s basketball team traveled to Delaware Valley College, Saturday afternoon, for a Freedom Conference contest. The Warriors shot 57% from the field en route to a 75-66 victory. Lycoming improves to 12-3 overall and 3-1 within the conference. The Aggies fall to 5-8 and 1-3.

The Warriors’ Jonathan Pribble (Jr./Woolrich, Pa.; Central Mountain) led all players with 31 points in the game on 13-of-20 shooting. Kevin Morris (Fr./Camp Hill, Pa.; Trinity) added 14 points on the strength of four three-pointers. Dave Pearson (Fr./Strasburg, Pa.; Lampeter-Strasburg) came off the bench to score 10 points, grab a game-high 10 rebounds, and block two shots. Shaun Morris (Sr./Camp Hill, Pa.; Trinity) recorded a game-high 11 assists for Lycoming.

Delaware Valley was led by Isaiah Pinckney with 26 points and three steals. Maurice Slaughter and Orlon Baker each added 11 points and eight rebounds for the Aggies.

The Warriors will again be on the road for their next game, traveling to Wilkes University on Wednesday, January 19, for an 8 p.m. tip-off.
