WARRIORS' STACKHOUSE NAMED 
PLAYER OF THE WEEK

WILLIAMSPORT, PA – Lycoming College junior Matt Stackhouse (Hughesville, PA; Hughesville) has been named the MAC Freedom Conference Player of the Week for men’s basketball.

Stackhouse led the Warriors to a pair of conference victories last week with dominating performances in the paint against both Wilkes University and Delaware Valley College. Versus the Colonels, Stackhouse scored a team-high 22 points, while pulling down a career-high 21 rebounds, including eight off the offensive glass. He also tallied three blocked shots and three assists. Against the Aggies, Stackhouse led all scorers with 25 points while grabbing six rebounds. He also blocked four shots in the contest and was 9-of-13 from the field. For the week, the 6-8 junior averaged 23.5 points and 13.5 rebounds per game.

As a team, Lycoming is 4-1 overall on the season and 2-0 within the conference. The Warriors next game is on Monday, December 16, when they travel to Elmira College for a non-conference tilt.
