Nelson Named Second Team All-MAC
Senior Warrior Tenth at MAC Tournament

WILLIAMSPORT, Pa.—Lycoming College senior Ryan Nelson (Whitehouse Station, NJ) placed tenth at the Middle Atlantic Conference Tournament this past weekend, earning himself second team all-conference recognition.

Nelson shot 115 over 27 holes on day one and then a 125 on day two. His effort helped Lycoming to a sixth place overall finish. Nelson’s scorching 115, put him in a good position for a more difficult second day. He made several key putts on the last nine to secure the last all-conference spot.

“The quality of golf in the MAC has greatly improved over the past few years. I’m delighted to have Ryan gain all-conference,” commented head coach Jamie Spencer, “He played very well for us in this (weather-shortened) spring.”

Fellow senior Jordan Isenburg (South Williamsport, PA), who had garnered All-Conference honors the past two seasons, shot 125 and 124 respectively. Senior James Davidson (Fairport, NY) shot a Sunday low of 119 to finish his collegiate career.

Spencer added, “These three guys will be missed and difficult to replace.”
