McGINLEY AND SCHRADER NAMED MAC PLAYERS OF THE WEEK

WILLIAMSPORT, PA – The Lycoming College football team had two players named Middle Atlantic Conference Players of the Week following their 29-13 victory over Wilkes University on Saturday. Senior Sean McGinley (Croydon, Pa.; Conwell-Egan) was named the defensive player of the week and freshman Chris Schrader (Glenolden, Pa.; Monsignor Bonner) was named special teams player of the week.

McGinley led the Warrior defense in tackles for the second consecutive week and was a key reason Lycoming limited the conference’s leading rusher to just 98 yards on 28 carries. McGinley made nine stops, including seven solo tackles. He also sacked the quarterback twice for a total loss of 10 yards.

Schrader tied a Warrior record with three field goals in the victory over Wilkes. Schrader connected from 32, 26, and 22 yards. He also converted two extra-points in two attempts to lead the team in scoring with 11 total points.
