LYCOMING’S MORRIS NAMED PLAYER OF THE WEEK

WILLIAMSPORT, PA – Lycoming College senior running back Jared Morris (Canton, PA; Canton) has been named the Middle Atlantic Conference offensive player of the week for football.

Morris led the Warriors to a 35-12 victory over Albright College last Saturday, compiling 196 yards of total offense and scoring four touchdowns. Carrying the ball 16 times, Morris gained 178 yards and scored on runs of 86, 32, and 31 yards. He also caught two passes for 18 yards, including a 10-yard touchdown reception. For the game he averaged 10.9 yards every time he touched the football.

For the season, Morris leads the Warriors with 779 yards rushing on 127 attempts. He has also scored nine touchdowns.
