OFFENSIVE LINE NAMED TO d3FOOTBALL.COM’S TEAM OF THE WEEK
WILLIAMSPORT,
PA – The offensive line for the Lycoming College football team has
been named to the d3football.com’s Team of the Week.

NCAA Division III football. Starting members of the offensive line
are Jay Seagreaves (Jr./Allentown, PA;
Allentown
Central Catholic),
Matt Mendola (Jr./Dunmore, PA; Dunmore), Dickie Houck
(Jr./Bethlehem, PA;
Bethlehem
Catholic),
Mike Juba (Sr./Taylor, PA;
Riverside),
and Andy Miller (Jr./Emporium, PA;
Cameron
County).
Lycoming's
line dominated Susquehanna last Saturday en route to a 50-3
victory. The Warriors’ front five paved the way for Lycoming’s
rushing game to gain 336 yards and score five touchdowns.
Lycoming's backs averaged 6.7 yards per carry against the
Crusaders. Jon Neve (Sr./Norristown, PA; Germantown Academy)
and Jared Morris (Sr./Canton, PA; Canton), the Warriors'
starting running backs, each gained more than 100 yards for the
third consecutive game. The offensive line also did not allow a
sack in 13 pass attempts (nine completions), including a pair of
touchdown passes.
For the
season, Lycoming is averaging more than 300 yards rushing per game
to lead the MAC and rank 6th in the entire nation. The
Warriors’ offensive line has also allowed just three sacks in 50
pass attempts.
Lycoming is
currently 3-0 on the season and ranked 8th in the
latest AFCA Top-25 poll. This Saturday they travel to King’s
College for a 1:30 p.m. kickoff. |
