WARRIOR FOOTBALL MOVES TO NO. 8 IN

AFCA COACHES’ POLL

WILLIAMSPORT, PA – The Lycoming College football team moved up one spot to number eight in the AFCA Division III Coaches’ Poll released this week.

The Warriors garnered 806 points, 164 more than last week, following their 50-3 victory over Susquehanna University last Saturday. For the season Lycoming is 3-0, having outscored their opponents 128-9.

Mount Union College leads the poll with 1,194 points and 46-of-49 first-place votes. Bridgewater College received the other three first-place votes and is second in the poll with 1,157 points. Middle Atlantic Conference rival Widener University is ranked fifth in the poll with 983 points.

Lycoming will travel to King’s College on Saturday, September 28, for a 1:30 kickoff versus the Monarchs.
