| Walt was a four-year member of football. In his senior year he captained the Warriors and received Offensive Player of the Year. Walt was named All-American by four different organizations: Football News (1st team), Kodak (1st team), Pizza Hut (1st team), and Associated Press (Honorable Mention). In his two final years he was named to the 1st Team All-MAC. |
