| Rod wrestled at 137 pounds for Lycoming and finished fourth at the Small College Nationals, gained All-American status, and was a place winner all four years in the MAC’s (1st in 1966, 2nd in 1964 and 1967, and 3rd in 1965). He was also the team captain in 1967. |
