Admissions to the Scholars Program
  • Freshman are invited to join the program if:

    • they are in the top 10% of their graduating class and have SATs of 1100 or higher.
    • they are in the top 20% of their graduating class and have SATs of 1200 or higher.
    • they are in the top 30% of their graduating class and have SATs of 1300 or higher.

      • Note: in all cases math SAT must be at least 520 and verbal SAT must be at least 580.

  • Students not meeting the above requirements may petition to join the program by contacting the program director, Dr. Briggs. Lycoming grades and professors' recommendations are carefully considered. Successful students are encouraged to join the Scholar Program.
