To remain in the program, students must maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.

Students who drop below this average will be placed on scholars probation for one semester. After one semester, they will be asked to leave the program if their GPA has not returned to 3.0 or higher.

To graduate as a scholar, a student must successfully complete five Lycoming Scholars Seminars, the more rigorous distribution requirements, and the non-credit Senior Scholars Seminar, the highlight of which is the presentation of results from a required independent study project.
