<title>Two join Lycoming College Board of Trustees  </title>

&lt;p style="text-align: justify;"&gt;WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. &amp;ndash; David Schoch and Linda Porr Sweeney have joined the Lycoming College &lt;a href="http://www.lycoming.edu/trustees/"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Board of Trustees&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/a&gt;, according to Peter R. Lynn, board chairman.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p style="text-align: justify;"&gt;Schoch, a 1973 Lycoming alumnus, has more than 30 years of experience with the Ford Motor Co., where he is the chief financial officer of operations throughout the Americas. He previously served the automaker as executive director, Ford Canada, Mexico and South America Operations. He also was CFO and vice president of strategic planning for Ford of Europe. Before that, Schoch was CFO of Ford Asia-Pacific Operations.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p style="text-align: justify;"&gt;In 2008, Schoch received the College&amp;rsquo;s Outstanding Alumni Achievement Award. He earned a bachelor&amp;rsquo;s degree in &lt;strong&gt;&lt;a href="http://www.lycoming.edu/business/"&gt;business&lt;/a&gt;&lt;/strong&gt; from Lycoming and master&amp;rsquo;s degree in business administration from Temple University. Schoch and his wife, Carol (Marsland), a 1973 Lycoming graduate, have three daughters and live in Farmington Hills, Mich.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p style="text-align: justify;"&gt;Sweeney, a 1978 Lycoming alumna, is a retired civil litigation lawyer. She began her profession in her hometown of Harrisburg, Pa., in 1981 with a firm that represented health care providers.&amp;nbsp; From 1985 to 1990, she continued this work with a major Philadelphia law firm. Beginning in 1990, she managed the Lancaster office of two Philadelphia firms and formed her own law firm in 1997. She retired from the practice of law in 2008. In addition to her legal work, Sweeney has served on the board of trustees of several nonprofit organizations, including Central Pennsylvania Legal Services, which is now MidPenn Legal Services; Montessori Academy of Lancaster; Fulton Opera House Foundation; and Lancaster County Community Foundation.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p style="text-align: justify;"&gt;Sweeney, who earned a &lt;strong&gt;&lt;a href="http://www.lycoming.edu/politicalScience/"&gt;political science&lt;/a&gt;&lt;/strong&gt; degree from Lycoming, is a past member of the College&amp;rsquo;s Alumni Association Executive Board. She earned a juris doctor from Villanova School of Law. Sweeney and her husband, Joseph Sweeney, have three children.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p style="text-align: justify;"&gt;Lycoming College is a national liberal arts and sciences school dedicated to the undergraduate education of 1,400 students. It is recognized as a Tier 1 institution by U.S. News and World Report. Founded in 1812 in Williamsport, Pa., Lycoming is one of the 50 oldest colleges in the nation.&lt;/p&gt;</description>

<title>Lynn named chairman of Lycoming College Board of Trustees  </title>

&lt;p style="text-align: justify;"&gt;WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. &amp;ndash; For just the third time in the last 22 years, the &lt;a href="http://www.lycoming.edu/trustees/"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Lycoming College Board of Trustees&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/a&gt; will have new leadership as Lycoming alumnus Peter R. Lynn was elected chairman during the board&amp;rsquo;s semiannual meeting April 8-9. He replaces Arthur Haberberger, a 1959 Lycoming graduate, who served as chairman since 2005 and will remain on the board as chairman emeritus.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p style="text-align: justify;"&gt;Lynn has been a member of the board since 2002 and most recently served as vice chairman. He has also served as chair of the board&amp;rsquo;s building and grounds committee since 2005 and was involved with the conception and construction of The Commons, an apartment-style residential complex which opened at the College in fall 2007. One of the six houses at The Commons is named the Joyce Lynn House in honor of his wife of nearly 50 years. The Lynns reside in Naples, Fla., and have two sons and five grandchildren.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p style="text-align: justify;"&gt;Lynn is president and CEO of Government Retirement &amp;amp; Benefits, Inc. Established in 1986 and located in Alexandria, Va., GRB is a consulting firm delivering a complete range of federal employee benefits services including counseling, training and software technologies to agencies.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p style="text-align: justify;"&gt;Lynn earned a bachelor&amp;rsquo;s degree in &lt;a href="http://www.lycoming.edu/economics/"&gt;&lt;strong&gt;economics&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/a&gt; from Lycoming in 1969. Immediately following graduation, he was employed by the U.S. General Accounting Office in Washington, D.C., for 17 years. During that time, he was assigned for nearly two years to the U.S. Senate Governmental Affairs Committee to assist in designing a new retirement system for federal employees.&lt;/p&gt;
