STUDENTS REQUESTING TO BE ON CAMPUS FOR MORE THAN ONE OF THE THREE REASONS LISTED BELOW MUST COMPLETE AN APPLICATION FOR EACH ONE. PLEASE READ ALL INFORMATION IN EACH SECTION BEFORE COMPLETING AND SUBMITTING ANY APPLICATION(S).
The deadline for submission of ALL applications (with the exception of Summer I & II) was 12:00 Noon on Monday April 14, 2008
1) REQUEST TO STAY AFTER HALL CLOSING (April 25th through May 4th)
This applies to any resident student who is requesting to remain on campus for any day(s) after the 6pm closing on Friday, April 25th.
Students who need to stay to participate in graduation AND who reside over 250 miles from Williamsport will be approved upon submission of the on-line request. All other requests will be reviewed and students will be notified if they are approved/denied via email. Students approved to stay on campus the week between finals and graduation may be charged $25/day. Students who are approved to stay will not check out on Friday, April 25th, but instead will remain in their current rooms until Monday, April 28th. On Monday, April 28th these remaining residents may be relocated to another residence hall. Key distribution, room assignment, and check out schedule will be disseminated via e-mail to all students who submit the on-line request and are approved to stay. Please note: even though check out is not until Monday, April 28th, rooms must be cleaned and ready for inspection (empty trash, carry out unwanted furniture, etc.) NO LATER THAN Friday, April 25th when halls officially close. This is the last day for Lycoming "Trash to Treasure" donations; B&G staff will also be removing trash at this time.
The deadline to register to "Stay After Hall Closing" has passed. If you have not yet requested permission to stay or need to confirm/change your registration, please contact the Housing Coordinator at reslife@lycoming.edu or visit the Residential Life Office, 1st floor Rich Hall during business hours.
2) REQUEST FOR GRADUATION HOUSING (May 3rd and 4th)
Graduation Housing is made available ONLY to Choir, Band, Ushers and 2008 Graduates.
Graduation Check-in for seniors is:
Saturday, May 3rd
10:00 am to Noon

Those students who have a legitimate reason to return to campus for graduation (choir, band, ushers, and graduates) may apply by filling out the Request for Graduation Housing form. Students who need housing between hall closing on April 25th and graduation weekend (May 3rd-4th) MUST complete the additional online form: "Staying On Campus After Finals" - see Section 1 above.
The deadline to register for "Graduation Housing" has passed. If you have not yet registered or need to confirm/change your registration, please contact the Housing Coordinator at reslife@lycoming.edu or visit the Residential Life Office, 1st floor Rich Hall during business hours.
3) REQUEST MAY TERM/SUMMER HOUSING (May 4 th through August 8th)
Students who are taking classes during May Term / Summer I / Summer II, who are working on campus or are participating in an internship (for Lycoming College credit) are eligible for campus housing from 3:00 pm on Sunday, May 4th through 4:00 pm on Friday, August 8th.
Housing rates for May Term, Summer I & II can be found on the Treasurer's web page. Students with summer Campus employment or internships should contact the Treasurer's Office for housing rates.
If housing is needed after August 10th, permission must be obtained by contacting the Dean of Student Affairs c/o Jean Wool wool@lycoming.edu .

Important notes:
Requests received after these deadlines will be honored if space is available. Students who are only enrolled in May Term, Summer I or Summer II will be housed in Rich Hall. Students who are also working on campus or who are in an internship will be housed in the apartments.
Every attempt will be made to honor housemate/roommate preferences. Assignments will be made in the order that requests are received and will be communicated at the time of check in.
