The Office of Safety and Security requires that all cars that are parked in campus lots, including the ones directly behind/beside the apartments, be registered. Information concerning Williamsport street parking can be obtained through Safety and Security.
Requests for (non-emergency) maintenance in an apartment/room require completion of a work request online in WebAdvisor. Any emergency situation should be reported immediately to the Office of Safety & Security (570) 321-4064.
For information on what is and is not provided in residence halls and apartments, see the FAQ section on the Res Life Web page.
All campus housing residents have access to laundry facilities on campus. Students residing on campus during May Term/ Summer will need to purchase a laundry card from the machine on the 2nd floor of Wertz Hall (adjacent to the Mail Services Office.)
Custodial staff will clean residence halls as during the academic year but they do NOT clean the apartments.
Trash and Items Which May Be Recycled
Students assigned to apartments are responsible for separating all recyclable materials. Trash should be put in the dumpster or trash cans outside the apartment. Recyclable items should be placed in the provided black buckets and placed on the curb in front the apartment. The recyclable pick-up schedule is located on the Lycoming County Resource Management Services website.
The same College and Residential Hall policies that apply during the academic year also apply during the summer months. To review policies please see the Policies and Procedures section of the Res Life Web pages.
Living in a "neighborhood"
Living in the College apartments is an exciting experience. Remember, though, that our apartments are located in a city neighborhood with community members who are not affiliated with the College. Practice being good neighbors to one another; if there are noise issues, safety concerns or other "neighborhood" issues, talk to one another first. Imagine this experience as one similar to living in your hometown community.
If you have any additional questions or concerns, please contact the Residential Life Office at (570) 321- 4046 or email@example.com
