High School: Central Dauphin High School
Most Influential Professor: Dr. Ross knows her material – recently she wrote “Deployed”, a book about reservists’ experiences in the Iraqi war. She has a lot of knowledge to share and she’s always willing to help you find the best internships.
Favorite Part of Class: The CJ professors have a variety of connections in our community so our classes are interesting and interactive. One day we might have a guest lecturer from the County welfare office and in the next class we are visiting a federal penitentiary.
Advice: Take as many classes in Criminal Justice as you can and get some real-world experience. I got an internship with the PA Attorney General in the Bureau of Narcotics Investigation and Drug Control, where I had the chance to work with the FBI, US Marshals, State and Local Police and even learned the ropes of being an undercover police officer.
