Activities at Lycoming: President of Student Senate, Panhellenic delegate for Alpha Xi Delta, Writer for the Odyssey

Hometown: Easton, Pennsylvania

High School: Easton Area High School

Most influential professor: Dr. Caroline Payne has been a tremendous influence on me. She has helped me through not only figuring out what I wanted to major in, but also finding graduate and law schools. She has also been there for me when I was diagnosed with a neurological disorder. She inspires me all the time.

Favorite experience: My favorite Lycoming experience has been traveling to the Dominican Republic with the Political Science department. In fact, after graduation, I will be moving to the Dominican Republic to continue my studies and fellowship.

My big college moment: My “Big College Moment” is probably the second time I spoke in front of the Board of Trustees. It was the first time without my predecessor, and I delivered a speech I am really proud of and ended up passing the policy that I was there to endorse on behalf of the student body.

Advice for incoming students: Get involved. Join ten clubs. It’s perfectly okay to drop five of them second semester. Find whatever it is that you are passionate about and hold on. Immerse yourself in that thing. It will make the other stressful things much more manageable. Getting involved in student government is a great opportunity to get to know a lot of different groups of people and figure out what is happening on campus.
