Chief Juvenile Probation Officer of Lycoming County

Ed Robbins is an Adjunct Instructor in the Criminal Justice Department and has been employed as such since 2001. His Spring Semester course - Youth, Deviance and Social Control, provides a comprehensive overview of the juvenile justice system. Mr Robbins received his BA in Criminal Justice Administration from Mansfield University in 1986 and his MS in Administration of Justice from Shippensburg University in 1998. He is currently employed by the County of Lycoming as the Chief Juvenile Probation Officer. Ed actively volunteers in local community activities including Loyalsock Little League, Youth Leadership Lycoming and LCHIC. He is the chair of several state-wide professional committees also, including the Higher Education Workgroup, Cog Probation Workgroup and Juvenile Court Judges Commission Youth Awards Committee.
