Elina Huertas
Spanish: Visiting Instructor of Spanish
Elina Huertas returns to Lycoming as a one-year visiting instructor of Spanish. She previously served Lycoming during the 2004-05 academic year as a Fulbright-funded Spanish teaching assistant. Huertas earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of La Pampa in Argentina. She worked as an English as a second language (ESL) instructor for a number of years at middle and high school levels in Argentina, and then taught ESL for a year as an adjunct professor at the University of La Pampa. She recently completed a bachelor’s in Spanish and has begun study for a master’s degree in curriculum and instruction, both at Bloomsburg University.
