Nathan Guss is a Visiting Assistant Professor who teaches French and German courses for the Department of Modern Language Studies. His interests include modernism, literary theory, Oulipo, ecocriticism, poetry, chanson française, parkour and Québécois literature. His book, Proust Outdoors, was published in 2009 by Bucknell University Press. His most recent publications include articles on Michel Leiris and bullfighting and the politics of parkour. He has lived in Lyon, Strasbourg, Dijon, and Québec City.
