Pre-Ministry: Vice President for College Advancement
Edmonds currently serves as the vice president for college advancement. He comes to Lycoming from Yale University, where he has served as a development officer since February 2008. He has been responsible for soliciting alumni, friends, foundations and corporations for gifts at levels of $100,000 and more. He also raises funds for Yale Tomorrow, a five-year, $3.5 billion campaign. Prior to joining Yale, Edmonds served as a major gifts officer at Lycoming for nearly two years, helping to raise funds for Campaign for a Brighter Future, a $42 million endeavor. His background includes working at the Duke University Divinity School as director of the annual fund, and a development associate with the Duke Youth Academy. From May 1998 to June 2002, Edmonds worked at Lycoming as the assistant director of admissions and development assistant. Edmonds graduated from Lycoming in 1998 with a bachelor’s degree in history and music, and a minor in business management. In 2006, he earned a master of divinity degree from the Duke University Divinity School.
