Charles Doersam is an alumnus of Lycoming College who went on to a Master’s Degree program at Kent State University and then to serve on the USS MAINE (SSBN-741G) as a nuclear submarine officer. He has done experimental research in atomic, condensed matter and nuclear physics. His current interest lies in econophysics and the modeling of financial systems. When he isn’t at Lycoming, he is learning more about economics and finance or on his bike riding the trails and roads of the greater Williamsport area.
