Director of Career Development, Centenary College, N.J.
While at Lycoming, Tiffany Zappulla worked as a student assistant in the college’s Career Center. Immediately after graduation, she moved to Seoul, South Korea, where she taught ESL for three years, studied Korean at Yonsei University and obtained a TEFL certification.
When she returned stateside in 2011, she tutored in the Centenary College Office of International Programs and later pursued a full-time position at Small & Associates/ENABLE as an Employment Specialist where she provided job search skills and on-the-job training to individuals with disabilities. While in this position, she instructed career development classes at the One-Stop Career Center in Plainfield, N.J.
In February of 2013, she returned to Centenary College to serve as Career Services & Internship Coordinator, a position in which she managed the work-study and internship programs, as well as advised students in resume and cover letter development, internship preparation and marketing themselves to prospective employers. Since August 2013, she began serving in her new role as Director of Career Development at Centenary, where she will continue advising students on job and internship preparation, as well as establish connections and develop programming with employers and alumni to serve the vocational goals of Centenary’s students.
