Alumni News Archives

This is a listing of all past Alumni website news updates that we have records of (basically since I created this version of the TKE website). Instead of the normal navigation on the left there is a directory of years of updates to look through. On this page will be the updates from the current year, 2004.

Recent Alumni Engagements Posted: 11/10/04

I apologize in advance for these getting out late but we would like to congratulate both William L. Dellett 502 and Mark W. Peterson 528 on getting engaged within the past few months. Remember, if there are any alumni notices to go out please see the contact page and email the webmaster.

Final RCB Date Posted: 10/24/04

The final date for the 2005 RCB is March 19th, mark your calendars folks!

RCB update and The TEKE Magazine Posted: 09/27/04

First off we need to let everyone know that April 2nd isn't going to work for the RCB this coming year due to facility reservation, but it will be on either March 12nd or March 19th, we just haven't decided yet. So for all you alumni: try to keep these dates open and we'll let you know which one we choose as soon as possible. Better yet, if you have a preference then please email Alumni Information on the Contact Page.

In other news, I finally got my hands on a copy of The TEKE Magazine. Mu-Theta is, without a doubt, one of four Top TKE Chapters for 2003-2004. This means that we excelled in all seven areas that TKE nationals looks at when ranking how well a chapter is doing. Congratulations fraters!

Also in The TEKE Magazine is alumni frater Mark "Poohy" Puzdrak 508 who was awarded Volunteer of the Month for September 2004. For those of you who don't know, Poohy graduated in the Spring of 2002 and is currently the Grand Province Advisor for the Chesapeake Province.

And as if the fraters of Mu-Theta weren't pervasive enough in TKE national news, those of you with a copy of the magazine should notice that a picture including both Poohy and Daniel "Whacker" Miller 507 is used on the TKE Educational Foundation Gift Form in the center of the magazine. Well folks, what can I say: there's never too much of a good thing!

Tentative RCB 2005 Date Posted: 09/21/04

A tentative date of Saturday, April 2, 2005 has been chosen for the next Red Carnation Ball. If anyone has questions about this date, please email special events.

TKE Homecoming and Recent Alumni Events Posted: 09/17/04

For those of you who don't know, frater Chris "P-Ting" DeHart 511 will be getting married this weekend to one of our past sweethearts, Kerrilee Morton! Unfortunately this weekend is also Homecoming weekend and thus many of the alumni and actives will be missing from Lycoming. But fear not! We shall be having a special TKE Homecoming this year on the weekend of October 22-24. This will allow all alumni, including the younger ones, to come back to the floor and enjoy spending a weekend with brothers old and new.

In other news, there has been a lot going on with our alumni this summer. Marcus Myers 492, Eric Avery 489 and Robert Sample 490 were married this past summer. Also, both Jim Farr 475 and Phil Levesque 499 are expecting bouncing new baby TKEs in the near future. Robert Glantz 509 had a daughter 'Anna Richelle Glantz' on August 4th. So congratulations to all of our alumni and their families.

Recent Alumni Engagements Posted: 03/18/04

Just as a general news notice to everyone, the brothers of TKE would like to congratulate Eric Avery, Robert Sample, and Christopher DeHart on wedding engagements for weddings that should be taking place before the year is over. The only date that I have an estimate of is that DeHart and Kerrilee's wedding will be the same time as Lycoming Homecoming this year. If anyone has additional information, please email me at blajaso1@lycoming.edu. Thanks, and once again, congratulations alumni!

RCB Update!!! Posted: 01/28/04

Greetings alumni! As you probably already read the RCB is now going to be held on Saturday, March 13th at the Scottish Rite. The price of admissions for alumni is $70, date included, and if you wish to pay in advance (this is preferable) please send checks to M. Greger Box 738, 700 College Place, Williamsport, PA 17701. Also, please make all checks payable to "TKE Inc.". Thanks all and we hope to see many of you there!

General Alumni Update Posted: 01/08/04

Hello everyone. As Histor for the past year I would like to apologize for not putting out the usual four newsletters and also for not keeping in touch with all of you alumni as I would have liked. Garrett Cimms is the new Histor, and I am staying on as webmaster for the time being. I believe the arrangement for the coming year will allow us to be at our maximum effectiveness since the duties I attempted to do last year are now being done by two people. I do not know the specifics but I believe Garrett will be recreating (creating?) an alumni information committee within the fraternity so that there will be even more brothers keeping you all informed, and helping you all be active in the chapter.

Two more notes for all of you alumni. One: we would like to stop having the newsletter printed and in order to do this we need email addressed! If you could please send email addresses, contact information, and participation level (full, no donation news only, no contact) then we can begin to compile a database of who would like to help out with what. Two: if you have any ideas, problems or concerns please refer to the Contact page for the appropriate person within the fraternity to email.

Thanks for listening and here's to a productive year!
