Tonya DeMarco

~On campus activities:  Beta Phi Gamma, Colleges Against Cancer, Psychology Club

~Off campus activities:  Internship in school psychology at Williamsport Area School District

~Nominating Organization:  Beta Phi Gamma

~Why she is being nominated:  Tonya is involved in many activities around campus.  Although she is very busy, she is always willing to help out and goes above and beyond what is asked of her.

 

Sarah Foster

~On campus Activities: Lyco Democrats (treasurer), Habitat for Humanity (spring break trip organizer), Career Development Center Peer career Advisor, Westminster Exchange Program Spring 2007 in London, England

~Off campus/community activities:  Williamsport Habitat for Humanity volunteer, practicum at North Penn Legal Services in the Human Resources Department.

~Nominating Organization:  Lycoming College Democrats

~Why she is being nominated:  She is a determined woman who wants to make a difference no matter how big or small.  She welcomes challenges which will make her stronger and has a passion for helping others.

 

Kim Keefer

~On Campus Activities:  Pre-Health Society (President), Tri-Beta Honor Society (VP), Ski Club, ARC biology tutor, Biology Department TA

~Off Campus Activities:  Volunteer at Country Ark Farm

~Nominating Organization: Pre-Health Society

~Why she is being nominated: Kim is hard-working and very involved on campus.  She’s always willing to help others, and she has done a great job as President of our organization.

 

Kirstie McKeever

~On campus activities: tennis, class of 2008 VP, STAR, tutor, Business Administration research assistant/student assistant, tour guide, CAB member, Individual Studies committee, choir, Delta Mu Delta member, Omicron Delta Epsilon member, IMS scholar

~Nominating organization: Student Senate

~Why she is being nominated: Kirstie has been a great asset to the Student Senate and Lycoming College.  She is highly respected by her peers for her kind and caring ways and great work ethic.

  

Caitlin Oakley

~On campus activities: Lycoming college full choir (President), Chamber choir, tour choir, Student Senate, Class of 2008 Secretary, UCM office assistant, 2007 choral assistant, intramural volleyball and indoor soccer, ACE club, Resident Assistant

~Off campus activities:  Saint Boniface Cantor, Saint Boniface youth group leader/helper.

~Nominating Organization: Lycoming College Choir

~Why she is being nominated:  Caitlin is a truly genuine person.  Her sense of humor can brighten anyone’s day.  She is a hard worker and she consistently goes out of her way to help people.  She puts her heart into the things that are most important to her.  She values her family and friends above all.  She has made a significant contribution to the campus and has definitely left her mark.  For such a small person, she has left a big footprint on the Lycoming College Campus.

 

Joanna Petrie

~On campus activities: Gamma Delta Sigma (chaplain, community service, Homecoming), Panhellenic Council ( VP recruitment), College choir, tour choir, chamber choir, Gamma Sigma Alpha, Kappa Delta Pi, Order of Omega, IRSUSKA scholar, CMENCE, SOS leader, former STAR of the class of 2010, tutor

~Off campus/community activities:  student teacher at Hepburn Lycoming Elementary, Lycoming Valley Middle School, and Williamsport High School

~Nominating Organization: Gamma Delta Sigma

~Why she is being nominated:  Joanna represents everything our Homecoming Queen should be.  She is and has always been a campus leader and she works exceedingly hard to ensure her duties are fulfilled and that her leadership positions ensure the needs of our campus community are met.

 

Lauren Raby

~On campus activities:  lacrosse, Alpha Xi Delta (social chair), Rec Center supervisor, Rec Board, Pre-Health Society, Chem Club, Intramural Sports, Circle K

~Off campus/community activities:  Volunteer for Susquehanna Health System

~Nominating Organization:  Alpha Xi Delta

~Why she is being nominated:  Lauren Raby has shown her dedication to AXiD time and time again.  She has held several positions and often guides new members and always shares her opinion with the group.

Steven Bilous

~On campus activities: Football Team (Captain), FLYCO, Relay for Life

~Nominating Organization: Beta Phi Gamma

~Why he is being nominated:  Steve is a leader not only on the field, but around campus as well.  He excels in the classroom and always puts forth effort around campus to lend a helping hand.  He is an exemplary member of the Lycoming College Community.

 

Dylan Chamberlain

~On campus activities:  Kappa Delta Rho, IFC, Bookstore Staff, Psi Chi, Order of Omega

~Off Campus/Community Activities:  College Town Committee

~Nominating Organization: Kappa Delta Rho

~Why he is being nominated:  Dylan is a participating student on Lycoming’s campus.  He has done much to improve Greek Life and Lycoming’s image while here.  He is sociable and smiles and says “hi” to everyone whether he knows them or not.

 

Josh Good

~On campus activities:  Choir, Chamber choir, tour choir, UCM, Monday night Bible Study, guys’ small group, NCAED

~Off-campus/community activities:  student teaching, Thomas Taber museum, Two Boys

~Nominating Organization:  Lycoming College Choir

~Why he is being nominated:  Besides being a great asset to the Lycoming Community, Josh is an amazing friend, a courteous leader, and has the ability to make anyone laugh and feel good about them self.  He is genuinely a great person.

 

 

Amilcar Guzman

~On-Campus Activities: Class of 2008 President, Multicultural Awareness Group President, Dance Club instructor, Resident Assistant, Tour Guide, SOS leader, choir, Library Circulation Worker, Lambda Chi Alpha, Academic Standards Committee, Black History Month Committee, Sociology/Anthropology Society, Intramural Sports, Psi Chi Honor Society, IRUSKA, Order of Omega

~Off-Campus Activities: CAPPA, Intern at the City of Williamsport

~Why he is being nominated: Amilcar is a lot of fun and great to have on any team or in any club. He's always positive, is goal-oriented, and always has a smile on his face. Who doesn't love Amilcar?

~Why he is being nominated:  John is an outstanding leader on this campus.  His talents and contributions act as a wonderful display of the Lycoming spirit.

 

Barry Schaub

~On-campus activities:  LAST, Alpha Psi Omega, Tour Guide, Mainstage Shows at the Mary L. Welch Theatre, Resident Assistant, Creative Arts Society, ACTF Preparation Program Coordinator,

~Off-Campus/Community Activities:  Involved with Boy Scout Troop 415 at home.

~Why he is being nominated:  Barry Schaub should be Homecoming King because he exemplifies the ideal Lycoming student. He is active on campus, in the community, and an individual with others in mind at all times.
