The sisters of Gamma Delta
Sigma have always enjoyed our work with both the community, the college, and
other organizations. We are actively involved in service projects such as
Adopt-A-Highway, Providence House for unwed mothers, Ronald McDonald House,
donating clothes to the Salvation Army, and Big Brothers/Big Sisters. Every year Gamma Delt holds an
auction in memory of one of their sisters who passed away, Brandy Sudol. The
auction is held on campus and the proceeds benefit the Brandy Sudol
Scholarship Fund. Gamma Delta Sigma is also
quite aware of their academics as well. We help our sisters by tutoring each
other whenever possible. The sisters are also highly involved socially here
at Lycoming. We have sponsored dances with various other organizations that
were open to the whole campus. We have also held a Spirit of Veteran's Day
Ceremony to honor local veterans, and a "Spirit of Sisterhood" PDR
to celebrate sisterhood among all houses on campus. |
