Panhellenic Meeting: 3/13/08

V.                Officer Reports

A. President- Thank you for dressing up for Badge Day! There will be no general meetings on Thursday from now until April 17 due to Easter, Cirlce of Sisterhood, and Greek Week, therefore there will be a general meeting held on March 25 at 9:30pm in the board room. Please have everyone in your chapters sign up for OrgSync and then join the Panhellenic group.

B. Vice President of Recruitment- Have recruitment rules ideas submitted to Kara via her campus mailbox 1015 by next week; the week after Easter each sorority will have the opportunity to set up a poster in the caf to inform prospective New Members about their house

C. Assistant Recruitment- No Report

D. Vice President of Membership- Circle of Sisterhood is March 27 in East Hall Coffeehouse at 9pm- sisters be in the coffeehouse by 8:45, NM’s in AST lounge by 8:45-this event is mandatory, all excuses are due to NPC no later then 24 hours in advance

E. Secretary- No Report

F. Treasurer- No Report

G. Scholarship- No Report

H. Service- No Report

I. Special Events- Greek Week packets were handed out; there will be a sign up sheet at the next meeting for fundraisers during Greek Week

J. Risk Management/Judiciary Board- No Report

K. Public Relations- Working on website

L. IFC- No Report

M. Student Senate- Mandatory town meeting on March 24 at 9pm- 2 reps from each house are required to attend- representatives from Collegetown will be there to discuss changes/new ideas for next year, so talk to your chapters and see if there is anything you would like brought up at the meeting!

VIII. Chapter Reports

A.Alpha Xi Delta- Working on formal scheduled for April 5th at DiSalvos; getting ready for Relay for Life- have 2 teams and are selling snow cones; kickball tournament went very well; working on Greek Week; working on NM process

B. Alpha Rho Omega- St. Patrick’s Day mug sale in the café March 10-14, working on formal which is April 5 at the Holiday Inn, participating in Relay for Life, Adopt-a-Highway on Sunday 3/16, continuing New Member Education process

C. Alpha Sigma Tau- planning our formal on April 12 at the Genetti, selling yogurt parfaits at Relay for Life, fundraiser at Hoss’s April 8th 4pm-8pm, planning Easter Egg Surprise fundraiser

D. Beta Phi Gamma- planning April 4 formal at Sons of Italy, organizing  Make-a-Wish fundraiser, service chair is planning an event, continuing can tabs and Wise Options drive, planning Greek Week, selling floats at Relay for Life, continuing New Member education

E. Gamma Delta Sigma- Relay for Life, Volley for a cure date set for April 5, working on greek week, working on formal, working on NM education, Adopt-a-Highway April 11
