Panhellenic Meeting: 3/6/08
I. Call to Order- 9:32pm II. Roll Call- AST Junior absent III. Read Creed and Code of Ethics IV. Minutes- Approved V. Officer Reports A. President- Badge Day will be Wednesday, March 12, National chapters make sure to wear badge attire and badge, local chapters dress up (like you were going to an interview); Panhellenic will be handing out snacks for Eating Disorders Awareness Week on March 12 in the lobby of the AC B. Vice President of Recruitment- There will be an open house on March 12 from 7-9 in Skeath for both the fraternities and sororities; write down at your house meetings ideas you have to change the recruitment rules for next year (bring suggestions to next week’s meeting) C. Assistant Recruitment- No Report D. Vice President of Membership- Circle of Sisterhood has been rescheduled for March 27 in East Hall Coffeehouse at 9pm- sisters be in the coffeehouse by 8:45, NM’s in AST lounge by 8:45-this event is mandatory, all excuses are due to NPC no later then 24 hours in advance E. Secretary- No Report F. Treasurer- No Report G. Scholarship- No Report H. Service- Cinderella’s Closet Saturday, 2 members from each house must be there at 8:30am to set up, 10 members from each house need to report to the coffeehouse at their designated time -10-11 AXiD, 11-12 AST, 12-1 Beta Phi, 1-2 GDS; Take Back the Night march will be April 14 at 8pm, more details to come I. Special Events- Bring the name of the person in charge of Greek Week from your house to the next meeting J. Risk Management/Judiciary Board- Currently speaking to Bernie McGrenahan, a comedian who does programs on alcohol awareness, about coming to Lyco K. Public Relations- Go to the NPC website and see what needs to be updated about your chapter L. IFC- No Report M. Student Senate- No Report VI. Old Business- No Report VII. New Business- No Report VIII. Chapter Reports A.Alpha Xi Delta- Working on formal scheduled for April 5th; working on annual kickball tournament scheduled for Sunday March 9 from 12-6pm; setting up teams and raising money for Relay for Life, working on Greek Week; working on NM process B. Alpha Rho Omega- St. Patrick’s Day mug sale in the café March 10-14, working on formal which is April 5 at the Holiday Inn, working on NM education, Quarter Mile of Quarters March 8th at Lycoming Mall C. Alpha Sigma Tau- planning our formal, preparing our table for Battle of the Bands, fundraising for MS walk in Montoursville, participating in AXiD kickball tournament, fundraising for Relay for Life D. Beta Phi Gamma- planning April 4 formal, thanks to everyone who attended our Silpada party, recently adopted the Make-a-Wish Foundation as official philanthropy, service chair is planning an event, continuing can tabs and Wise Options drive E. Gamma Delta Sigma- Relay for Life, Volley for a cure date set for April 5, working on greek week, working on formal, Purse Party Saturday of Little Siblings weekend, working on NM education, Adopt-a-Highway April 11 IX.
