The Lycoming College Chapter of AMIS meets every Tuesday before Math Colloquium in the lobby area on the 3rd floor of the Academic Center.

AMIS is an organization for any students who have an interest in Mathematics. This doesn't mean just majors. Anyone with such an interest is encouraged to join us!

AMIS isn't all about talking mathematics. Obviously the majority is about mathematics, but AMIS takes part in many other things. In the past AMIS has taken trips to different places for a day of fun with our fellow members.

We host Math Awareness Day at Lycoming College, a day dedicated to showing 7th and 8th graders some different and interesting aspects of math that are sometimes overlooked in the classroom. We also involve ourselves in the Campus Carnival at the beginning of the year as a fund raiser.
