Students leaders and staff honored for service to community

Lycoming College students and staff were recognized for their service to the Lycoming and Williamsport communities during Lycoming College’s Honors Convocation at the Williamsport Community Arts Center. Honorees were acknowledged for their selfless and tireless dedication to serving others and for their dedicated leadership to advance student life at the College. Those honored include:

The College this year bestowed the Makisu award upon Lori Lyons, career advisor with the College’s Center for Enhanced Academic Experiences. The award is given by the student body to a faculty or staff member for extraordinary service and dedication to the College. Lori was recognized for her commitment to helping students discover their career paths through her counseling services.
